  1. Most interesting innovator to me was Tony Hawk, because he started the business as a kid, but wasn't aware of that.Of one skateboard(that u cant even call a sport) make a whole brand was smart, innovate and therefor profitable. All teenagers and kids have their stiles and when "skate" is one of them, they will convince their parents everything, and in this case it includes clothes, shoes, video games etc.

  2. Shawn Burk with Dukky ... exemplified measurement, the absolute critical ingredient for Management, with social media, marketing, and real time data collection. Good example of tying the loose ends together as opposed to creating something new, and making a profit of that.

  3. The success story I admire the most is the one of the mountaineer enthusiast and his Patagonia business. I think, that the fusion of two things gave him the upper hand over his competitors. Firstly, it think he poured his heart and soul into his entrepreneurial endeavor by simply doing what he feels passionate about. And secondly, it seems he hit the consumer’s soft spot by “going green” with his merchandise. Let me elaborate one this one… Everybody’s yelling, but it seems nobody’s actively caring about the environment. So, isn’t it just convenient to wear eco-friendly clothing and, sort of, pay to feel got about the whole “damn” charade! And that’s what I call - a brilliant consumer behavior analysis.

  4. The best innovator to me is Richard Branson. I read an article this summer about him and i was fascinated by his story. He skiped school when he was sixteen and from that point he started to built a big business empaire whith his innovations and entrepreneurial skills. The whole story is great and the fact that he accomplish all of this having dyslexia is even greater.

  5. Like my colleague Fran, Richard Branson inspires me the most. He is the most well known of the bunch, and also a billionaire, but those are not the qualities that I appreciate about him the most. What fascinates me is the portfolio of businesses that he has managed to build around his company Virgin group. It would be hard to mention an industry in which he is not involved. But the amount of fun that he had while doing it inspires me. He has obviously led a very rich and fulfilling life while creating a great fortune. The most important thing to me, though, is the person that he has become/remained in the process. I recently watched a documentary about his private island. Everyone of the staff there are free to approach him at any time. He is very nice and patient around people, and he seems a man of few airs and graces. His kids also seem very nice and not spoiled at all. Bottom line, he has led enormously interesting life, built a great company, has a beutiful family and he has impacted people around him in a positive way.

  6. Story about Kim Jordan, CEO of the third-largest craft brewing company in the U.S., is the most inspiring to me. She managed to increase production by nearly 250 percent and keep soul of start - up as the secreat of success.
For me, the most fascinating is the background of her success, precisely - the fact that she started in the basement and had the courage to invest in a business that is not even her area of expertise.
I believe that the key of her success is in hard work, courage and dedication.
She is the only woman in that article and one of few in the men world, but she definitely did it.

  7. It's hard to look past Richard Branson, although there are other impressive entrepreneurs on this list. Just the sheer number of ventures he has participated in and the success he has had in a variety of industries, sometimes with limited experience is awe-inspiring. And the most important part, he had fun doing it!

  8. I have to admit that all entrepreneures are impresive, but Richard Branson is not "typical" entrepreneur. He is entrepreneur of entrepreneurship. Branson did not stood with just one idea and fight with it till success. He had series of tries in business, and had many fails, but he never look back, just to the future and also had many success. However, he had much success as much as he had fails, but still he does not give out.

  9. Tim Hawkins is interesting; he started the electronic game giant Electronic Arts. This company really hade and has great games. I totally played a bunch of them.

But then he opened a new business, that isn´t as half as big and successful as EA. Now he is again one of the little guys
Sometimes changes are not so good.

  10. An Entrepreneur that i think is really interesting is Tony Hawk. He is/was a great skateboarder. He was a weary young when he became a great success in his sport.

He made a brand of his name. Clothes, skateboards, video games, shoes, biography everything that had his name was weary profitable.
